The calendar of ICC events to be held from 2026 to 2031 has been announced. The names of the hosts of these events have also been announced. India has also got the host of 3 big events, in 2026 India and Sri Lanka will host the T20 World Cup together. India will co-host the ODI World Cup with Bangladesh in 2031 with Bangladesh in 2031. In 2029, the Champions Trophy will be held in India.
Pakistan got hosting
The ICC has also hosted Pakistan. Pakistan has also got hosting of major ICC events. It will host the Champions Trophy in 2025. The best part is that, between 2024 and 2031, a total of 6 World Cups will be organized including ODI and T20.
India will host the 2023 World Cup
In the year 2023, the ODI World Cup will be held in India. This year’s T20 World Cup was also to be played in India, but due to the Corona crisis, the event was held in Oman and UAE. Earlier in 2011, India had co-hosted the ODI World Cup along with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Big chance for PAK after 25 years
The Champions Trophy to be held in the year 2025 has been given to Pakistan, after 25 years such an occasion has come when Pakistan has got the host of such a big tournament. The last time a World Cup match was played in Pakistan was in 1996.
