Ashwin told Sports 18 on Tuesday, ‘I have always been a fan of Spain. I don’t know how they will do this year, but I am definitely looking forward to the matches in Spain. Other teams have also raised the level of their game and the last World Cup was fantastic. I enjoyed seeing Kylian Mbappe last time. I am also waiting for some new stars to emerge in the World Cup and yes I am looking forward to the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Former Indian spinner Pragyan Ojha is catching a flight to Qatar to watch football action. He is looking forward to the match between Portugal and Uruguay where he wants to see charismatic forward Cristiano Ronaldo in action. Ojha said, ‘Yes, I am going to Qatar to watch the FIFA World Cup. I will watch the match between Portugal and Uruguay. One reason behind this is Ronaldo. Not that I am a big fan, but I want to see them play before my eyes. I would like to see Messi vs Ronaldo match i.e. Argentina vs Portugal.
