    New Delhi.On the basis of the stormy batting of Fakhar Zaman, Pakistan won in ODI cricket after 103 days. Pakistan won the first ODI against New Zealand by a margin of 5 wickets in Rawalpindi. Pakistan played an ODI match after 103 days and was also successful in winning it. Pakistan played the last ODI against New Zealand in January. This is Pakistan’s 500th ODI win.

    With the victory in Rawalpindi, Babar Azam’s team has also taken a 1-0 lead in the 5-match series. Batting first, the Kiwi team scored 288 for 7 wickets on the basis of Darrell Mitchell’s century and Will Young’s half-century. Mitchell hit 113 runs in 115 balls with 11 fours and a six.     Strong start of Pakistan

    Apart from Young and Mitchell, no other batsman could run from New Zealand. Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf got 2-2 success, while Shadab Khan took one wicket.     Babar misses out on half century

    After opener Imam returned to the pavilion, Babar Azam supported Fakhar by scoring 49 runs. In the form of Babar, Pakistan got a second blow for 214 runs. However, Shan Masood’s bat was a flop. He was able to score only 1 run. Fakhar also returned to the pavilion in 42.2 overs after bringing the team to the threshold of victory.

    Brilliant innings from Rizwan

    After Pakistan fell for 4 wickets for 255 runs, Mohammad Rizwan took over the responsibility. Although in the meantime Agha Salman was also dismissed, but Rizwan stood at one end and returned only after winning the team. Rizwan scored an unbeaten 42 in 34 balls.
