Defender Jordi Alba will leave Barcelona after a year

Since joining Barcelona from Valencia in 2012, Alba has gone on to win six La Liga titles and one Champions League. He won a total of 19 trophies for the club during his tenure.
Alba played over 450 matches for the club, scoring 27 goals and being instrumental in 91 goals.
On his journey with Barcelona so far, Alba said: “It has been an incredible journey. I am grateful for the memories and the support of the fans. There will always be a special place in my heart for Barcelona.”
He added, “These are difficult times, and I believe it is important for me to support the club that has given me so much. I want to see Barcelona flourish even after I am gone.”
