New Delhi (EMS). Wrestler Bajrang Punia has said that he along with other wrestlers is ready for the narco test. Bajrang has said this in view of the condition of Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, former President of Wrestling Federation of India, in which Brijbhushan, surrounded by allegations of sexual exploitation of women wrestlers, said that he is ready for the narco test, but along with him Bajrang, Vinesh Phogat and some other wrestlers should also undergo narco test. Brij Bhushan’s son Prateek Bhushan Singh tagged a message from his father in a tweet. It is written in the message, I am ready to get my narco test, polygraph test or lie detector test done but my condition is that Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia should also undergo this test with me. If both the wrestlers are ready to get their test done then announce it and I promise them that I am also ready for it.
It was further said in the message, I still stand by my word and promise the countrymen to remain firm forever. Prateek has posted this message of his father in the form of a tweet, although it is not visible on Brij Bhushan’s official Twitter handle. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said in the program that I can understand that the children for whom I sacrificed everything to make them successful, today the same children have turned against me for politics.
He said that I had said on the first day itself that when did it happen, where did it happen, with whom, what happened? Even after four months, these people are not able to tell this thing. I am accused of indecent touching. But like you garlanded me and your hand touches my body. On something like this, these people want to hang me. They do not have any audio, video or any recording. Story after story is being told. They should know that the whole country is in anger today. People of all castes and religions are standing with me.
At the same time, accusing Brij Bhushan of sexual exploitation, veteran and young wrestlers of the country are currently sitting on a dharna at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. In this matter, the wrestlers have also got the support of Khap Panchayats. At the same time, the Delhi Police is also investigating Brij Bhushan by registering a case. Along with this, the Sports Ministry has banned all the activities of the Wrestling Federation till the completion of the investigation. Union Sports Ministry says that this matter is being investigated in every way, so now the wrestlers should also end their strike and wait for the investigation report.
