Shaking hands with Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals, a cricket team owned by Royal Sports Group announced the launch of a brand new cricket reality show ‘Cricket Ka Ticket’ in association with Colors Television. Mandira Bedi will host the show. The purpose of this show is to fulfill the dream of crores of Indians who want to make their career in cricket. Two winners will be selected in the show. One female and one female, each with a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh, will be made part of a one-year cricket development program under the supervision of Rajasthan Royals team coaches, mentors and players to teach them the finer points of the game.
Cricketers were accused
Mandira Bedi had made a sensational disclosure last year. Where he shared his sweet and sour experiences with cricketers during his first anchoring project i.e. 2003 World Cup. Mandira Bedi had said that she was stared at when she asked questions. Cricketers used to keep watching him. The sportspersons and fellow panellists may not have been able to accept a woman as a sports anchor. Wondered how a lady wrapped in a saree is talking on cricket.
Mandira is a single mother
Mandira, who became famous with the serial ‘Shanti’ aired in Doordarshan, is a single mother. In the year 2021, her husband Raj Kaushal died of a heart attack. He was 49 years old. Raj and Mandira were married in 1999. Son Veer was born in 2011 and adopted four-year-old daughter Tara in the year 2020.
