    T20 World Cup 2021: Virat Kohli slams people trolling Mohammed Shami over  religion as 'spineless'

    Indian captain Virat Kohli held a press conference ahead of the T20 World Cup match against New Zealand when he was asked about Mohammed Shami being trolled on social media after losing to Pakistan. On this, Virat Kohli showed his displeasure, he looked very angry, he said that it is completely wrong to target or troll any person just because of his religion.

    Virat further said that at this time we are focusing only on the match, our focus is not on the drama going on outside. He said that some people do such nonsense on social media, in today’s time it has become common. They need to understand that this is their lowest and lowest level, it is absolutely wrong to harass someone like this. We are a team, we always keep the environment of our dressing room clean with these things and support our players.

    Virat further said that I have never discriminated against any person because of his religion, but there are some people who have work here. If someone doesn’t see passion in Shami’s game, then I don’t want to waste my time on such people. Let us tell you that when India lost to Pakistan in this World Cup, at that time Mohammed Shami was being trolled a lot on social media. After this all the Indian players supported Shami and raised their voice against this trolling.
