The CSA’s blueprints mention the surroundings of Johannesburg, with most matches being proposed for the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Here all teams will enter their bio bubble. The names of Pretoria’s Century Park, Benoni’s Willomoor Park and Senwes Cricket Stadium are proposed along with the city. These four international grounds are located within driving distance of each other, allowing all teams to base their bases in Johannesburg.
In 2009, the second season of IPL was organized in South Africa. CSA had hosted the league in the eighth venue due to the difficulties of Covid-19.
