Murray won the match in five hours and 45 minutes. This match became the longest match of Murray’s career. It is the first time Murray has reached the third round in the first major of the season since 2017. He will next play Spain’s Roberto Batista Agut, who came back from two sets down to beat American wild card Brandon Holt 4-6, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-2.
