T20 World Cup 2021 has got both its finalists, in the second semi-final, Australia defeated Pakistan and made it to the final. Pakistan, who were coming into the Super-12 with an amazing performance, had to face a five-wicket defeat in the semi-finals. Matthew Wade pulled the match out of Pakistan’s clutches for three consecutive sixes in the 19th over.
The second semi-final between Australia and Pakistan was very similar to the first semi-final, where the match turned completely upside down in the last overs. Australia needed 50 runs in the last four overs, at that time it seemed that Pakistan would win this match easily but it did not happen.
Twist came in the match from the 17th over
Marcus Stoinis scored 13 runs in the 17th over with a four and a six. In the next over also, Australia scored 15 runs by hitting a four and a six. With Australia needing 22 runs in the last two overs, Matthew Wade smashed Shaheen Afridi for three consecutive sixes in an over to propel his team into the final.

In this match being held in Dubai, Finch won the toss and decided to bowl first, Pakistan scored 176 runs in their 20 overs. Chasing this target in a pressure game was not going to be easy for any team. For Pakistan, Mohammad Rizwan made 67 and Fakhar Zaman played a tremendous innings of 55 runs, while on the other hand, when Australia came to betting, Shaheen Afridi sent Finch to the pavilion in the first over.
David Warner played a thrilling innings of 49 runs for Australia and laid the foundation of victory. Matthew Wade and Marcus Stoinis played match-winning innings of 41 and 40 in the last over. Those three sixes hit by Matthew Wade, he might not forget for the rest of his life, his three sixes took Australia to the final.
