Pakistan won the opening match
Let us tell you that in the first match of the Asia Cup played in Multan, Pakistan started with a win by defeating the Nepal team by 238 runs. However, this Asia Cup became memorable for Nepal team. Nepal’s team is participating in the Asia Cup for the first time. Batting first in this match, Pakistan scored 342 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs, in response to which Nepal’s team was all out for 104 runs in overs. Pakistani batsmen Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed were the stars throughout the match, where Babar Azam played an inning of 151 runs for the Pakistani team, while Iftikhar Ahmed played a brilliant inning of 109 runs in 72 balls.
