4 matches in Pakistan, rest in Sri Lanka
After much deliberation on this proposal given by PCB chief Nakam Sethi, now it is certain to be approved. News agency PTI quoted ACC sources as saying that on Tuesday, June 13, an official announcement will be made by the council on the hybrid model of the tournament, in which the tournament will be held in Sri Lanka along with Pakistan. The tournament is likely to be held in September.

The PCB chief had proposed four matches to be held in Pakistan under its hybrid model, while all India matches were suggested to be played in some other country. It looks fixed now. According to the report, four matches will be held in Lahore, Pakistan, in which there will be matches of Pakistan-Nepal, Bangladesh-Afghanistan, Afghanistan-Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka-Bangladesh. At the same time, the rest of the matches including India-Pakistan will be played in Sri Lanka.

The way for the World Cup is also clear
It has been claimed in the report that with the acceptance of this proposal of Pakistan, there will be no deadlock regarding the World Cup and the Pakistani team will be ready to come to India for the tournament to be held in October-November.
