Team India also occupies the first position in the T20 rankings. In such a situation, now it is the turn of Test cricket. The Indian team is currently in second place in the Test rankings. At the same time, Team India has a chance to become number one in this format by defeating the Kangaroo team in the four-Test series against Australia next month.

However, Australia’s challenge is not going to be easy for the Indian team. Despite this, Team India under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma is trying to take advantage of their home conditions to beat Australia in the Test series.

How can Team India become No.1 in Tests?

Australia is currently ranked number one in the ICC Test rankings with a rating of 126. The Indian team, on the other hand, has a rating of 115 and is currently at the second position. In such a situation, the first attempt of Team India will be to beat Australia 4-0 in the Test series at home. However, if this does not happen then India will have to win the series at least 3-0, 3-1 or 2-0. If the Indian team manages to do this, then it will get the number one crown in Tests as well.

What is the schedule of Test series between India and Australia?

The Border Gavaskar series of India and Australia is starting from February 9 next month. The first match of the series will be played in Nagpur. At the same time, the second match between the two teams is to be played in Delhi from 17 to 22 February. The third Test match will be played in Dharamshala from March 1 to 5 while the last Test match will be played in Ahmedabad from March 9 to 13.

After the Test series, a series of three ODIs will be played between India and Australia. The first ODI of the series will be played in Mumbai on 17 March. Apart from this, the second ODI will be played in Visakhapatnam on March 19 while the third and last match will be played in Chennai.
