Talking to India Today, Ashish told that Akash used to play cricket with tennis ball earlier and he was a great bowler. He used to bowl very fast and that is why people were afraid to face him. Ashish told that no one allowed Akash to play because the legs were scared of his bowling. Ashish told that that is why he was banned from playing in local tournaments. He told that there was an atmosphere of fear regarding the sky.

Ashish told that Akash used to go outside Roorkee and play. Ashish, however, is very happy to see his brother’s success. He said that the days of playing with tennis ball are gone. He is now very happy to see his brother’s success.

Ashish has given the credit of his brother’s success to Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma. He said that Rohit gives opportunity to the players. He told that Rohit shows confidence in the players and supports them. Akash’s brother said that a new player is scared about his place in the team and Rohit had removed the fear from Akash’s heart.

Akash bowled brilliantly against Lucknow, taking five wickets for five runs in four overs. This is the best performance by any bowler in the playoffs so far. With this, this is the best performance by any bowler this season.
