    Popular Hollywood star Sam Neill, who was seen in films like ‘Jurassic Park’ and ‘The Piano’, is currently going through a tough time and has taken a break from acting. Sam Neill has stage 3 blood cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Sam Neill, 75, was diagnosed with blood cancer in March 2022. After this, he immediately started taking cancer treatment. Sam Neill took a break from acting, but kept himself busy. Meanwhile, Sam Neill wrote his book Did I Ever Tell You This? Likhi, which will now be launched on 21 March.

    In this book, Sam Neill himself has told about having blood cancer and fighting it. According to ‘BBC’, he has shared details about how and when Sam Neill came to know that he had blood cancer. When Sam Neill was on a publicity tour for the film Jurassic World Dominion in 2022, he felt some lumps in his throat.

    Sam Neill immediately saw the doctors. And when he told what had happened, Sam Neill choked. But he pulled himself together and thought what to do next. According to Sam, he thought he had to do something. So what to start writing? Then Sam Neill started writing the book. He wrote its first chapter when chemotherapy was going on.

    As soon as Sam Neill saw the news of his cancer everywhere, he shared a video on his Instagram account and gave a health update to the fans. Sam Neil shared the video and wrote, ‘I am alive and back to work. I am very happy to be back. We are starting shooting in 7 days only. I’m doing Apples Never Fall with Annette Bening. It is an amazing cast.

    Will have to take chemo drug for life

    Sam Neill had a blood cancer called Angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma. He had started taking chemotherapy for this. But when that failed, he took a new chemotherapy drug. This benefited Sam Neil a lot. But now he has to take this drug every month for the rest of his life. Now Sam Neill is cancer free, but he will be treated for the rest of his life. Sam Neill started his acting career in the 1970s and has done many films till now. Has done more than 150 memorable role plays.
