While narrating the anecdote, Deepika said that – He was pulling me, pulling my hair during the Sita abduction scene. He was actually very worried about this scene in Real and he felt bad. It is a bit difficult for an actor to act like this. He was a Gujarati and he was constantly asking me whether you thought or not. I used to tell them that I am fine and there is nothing to worry about. Deepika further said that the demand of the scene was such that she had to grab my hair and pull it, so that the scene looked very natural. He was stuck in the fact that he has to make the scene look real and I don’t even have to hurt. I still remember that Arvind ji had apologized to me in front of the entire media, that too for the Sita abduction scene. He was a very religious person. He was not feeling well after doing the scene. He was a Shiva devotee. He was a good person and he was full of humanity.
Deepika said that – I spoke to her when ‘Ramayana’ was broadcast on TV during the lockdown. At that time it did not seem that he was battling all these diseases. Although, I could not talk to him clearly on the phone, but we talked about Ramayana. I told him that we would meet. I had also made a plan to meet him with Sunil Lahiri, but could not meet.
