It may be known that Rakhi Sawant was taken into custody by the Amboli police on 19th January. Model and actress Sherlyn Chopra lodged a police complaint against Rakhi Sawant on 9 November 2022. Sherlyn had alleged that Rakhi Sawant had used her objectionable language. Sherlyn said that Rakhi Sawant unnecessarily jumped into the ongoing fight between her, Raj Kundra and Sajid Khan. Not only this, Rakhi Sawant shared Sherlyn Chopra’s intimate pictures publicly and in the media. Rakhi Sawant was taken into custody in this case.
Rakhi gets bail on humanitarian grounds
However, later Rakhi Sawant was granted bail on humanitarian grounds by staying her arrest. Actually Rakhi Sawant’s mother is currently suffering from cancer and brain tumor and she is undergoing treatment in the hospital. Because of this, Rakhi Sawant was granted bail, so that Rakhi Sawant could take care of her mother in difficult times. In this regard, Sherlyn Chopra’s lawyer Suhail Sharif had told that Rakhi Sawant presented a medical certificate of her mother, which showed that her condition was very serious.

In view of this, the arrest of Rakhi Sawant was stopped and Sherlyn Chopra also did not press for it. In this case, Rakhi Sawant has now filed an anticipatory bail petition in the Bombay High Court.
