The Versova police have registered a case under sections 452, 323, 504, 506 of the IPC on the basis of a complaint by Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s mother. Reportedly, Zainab had a fight with Nawazuddin’s mother. Reportedly, there was a property dispute between Nawazuddin, his mother and Alia.

Nawazuddin and Aaliya got married in 2010 and both have two children. Aaliya is Nawazuddin’s second wife. Alia had filed for divorce from the actor in May 2020 and also made serious allegations against him. Earlier in July 2020, Alia had lodged a complaint at a police station in Mumbai. She then came from Mumbai to Budhana, Muzaffarnagar to record her statement against Nawazuddin and four of his family members in September the same year, alleging domestic violence.
Months later, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya Siddiqui decided to give their marriage another chance. He talked about how much he was taking care of her and their children after she tested positive for COVID-19 in 2021.
