‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, the Hindi remake of the 1994 Tom Hanks film ‘Forrest Gump’, barely managed to earn Rs 58 crore. Ever since the trailer of the film was released, people started boycotting it on social media. Not only this, Aamir Khan started criticizing the actor by making that old interview viral, in which he talked about ‘intolerance’ in the country. Because of this, people did not come to see ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ in theaters and it got a cold response at the box office. But when ‘Lal Singh Chadha’ was released on Netflix, people started apologizing to the makers as well as the actors of the film that they did wrong by boycotting it.
Manav Vij – Those who are apologizing should send money to Aamir
Manav Vij, who played a Pakistani soldier in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, also apologized on social media for boycotting the film. But Manav Vij says that instead of apologizing, people should send money to Aamir Khan’s production house to make up for the loss caused by the boycott.
