Soha Ali Khan remembered her late father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi on Thursday. He was affectionately called Tiger. He died in New Delhi on September 22, 2011 at the age of 70 after battling a lung infection. He was an Indian cricketer and former captain of the Indian cricket team. Mansoor Ali Khan was appointed the cricket captain of India at the age of 21.

On his 11th death anniversary, Soha Ali Khan shared a video of her father on her Instagram handle, in which she is seen talking about her life without her father, who was also a famous cricketer. In the video, Mansoor can be heard speaking in Urdu, saying, “My mother came and told me that my father is no more. I was so young and I didn’t even know what it meant. With time I realized that it is not easy to live my life without my father. Sharing the video, Soha captioned the video, ‘I am missing that voice.’

Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi married Sharmila Tagore in 1966. They have three children – Saif Ali Khan, Saba Ali Khan and Soha Ali Khan. On the work front, Soha’s web series ‘Hush Hush’ released today on Prime Video. It also stars Juhi Chawla and Ayesha Julka along with Kritika Kamra, Shahana Goswami and Karishma Tanna.
