Aftab Amin Poonawalla and Shraddha Walkar Shraddha’s family members were against their relationship, after which both of them shifted from Mumbai to Delhi. Shraddha went against her family for Aftab and broke all ties with him. Aftab and Shraddha started living together in Delhi by taking a flat. But one day in May 2022, Aftab killed Shraddha and cut the dead body into 35 pieces. He also bought a big fridge to store these pieces. Aftab used to burn incense sticks in the house so that the stench did not spread. During interrogation, Aftab told the police that the idea of killing Shraddha in this way came from the web series ‘Dexter’.

Shraddha was killed after meeting on a dating app
It may be known that the police took 6 months to arrest Aftab. The matter came to light when Shraddha’s father came to Delhi one day to take care of his daughter and found the flat locked. Shraddha’s father told the police that his daughter could not be reached and the phone was switched off. That’s why they started doubting Aftab. After the complaint of Shraddha’s father, the police arrested Aftab. Aftab told the police that Shraddha was pressurizing him to marry and so he got fed up and killed her and cut her into 35 pieces. Aftab committed the murder in May and then brought all the pieces home and kept them in the fridge. He would leave the house every night at 2 am and throw the pieces at different places in Delhi. Aftab told the police that he had met Shraddha on a dating app. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
