Sunil Shetty recently said in a conversation with Bombay Times, ‘I have always said that Karthik Aryan was never playing the role of Akshay in the film. Kartik is the new kid and is brilliant, but he cannot replace Akshay. Raju will always be Raju and the audience will not accept anyone else in his place. Whenever we talked to Akshay before, the same thing happened that this is such a movie on which we should work.

‘Hera Pheri 3’ is the third installment of the hit series of the same name. The iconic Jodi of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty is back to rock yet again and will be joined by Sanjay Dutt who will be playing the role of a Don. Earlier there were reports that Anees Bazmee would direct this movie, but things didn’t work out between him and producer Firoz Nadiadwala. ‘Harry Pheri 3’ will be a direct sequel to the 2006 blockbuster ‘Phir Harry Pheri’.
