Antara Srivastava said in the interview that on August 10, 2022, she got the news of her father’s heart attack. They thought that there might be some confusion, because Antara’s uncle Kaju Srivastava was already admitted in Delhi’s AIIMS hospital. Antara told, Uncle Kaju was already in the hospital. Papa used to go there often. Uncle’s operation was also going to happen that day. That’s why I felt that there is no truth in this news. It is all a rumour.
Antara further said, ‘Mummy also got the news of father’s heart attack as a rumour. But later they came to know that he had fainted on the treadmill. I, mother and brother were in Mumbai then. We immediately went to Delhi. Uncle was also discharged on 14 August.
Antara remembers her father’s last day
Antara got emotional remembering her father’s last days. He further said, life never tells that this is your last day. Papa went out of town for 10 days. He shot for Laughter Champion a day before my birthday. We also celebrated my birthday together. He was happy and like always everyone was laughing.
‘Wrong to blame the gym’
Antara was asked questions related to the health of Raju Srivastava. Then he told, ‘Jim should not be held responsible for Papa’s heart attack. Whatever happened in the gym is just a coincidence. He was already ill.

Raju Srivastava’s daughter Antara is working as an assistant producer in the industry. He has worked in films like Vodka Diaries and Paltan.
