On Thursday, Brahmastra will complete two weeks of release at the box office. The film is expected to beat the lifetime earnings of ‘The Kashmir Files’ at the domestic box office on Thursday and become the highest-grossing Bollywood film of the year 2022. The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, did a lifetime business of Rs 225 crore. In the Worldwide Collection case, ‘Brahmastra’ earned Rs 360 crore in 10 days, leaving behind the earning of Rs 340 crore of ‘The Kashmir Files’.
Signs of big earning on National Cinema Day
This is the first film of Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra trilogy’. This scientific-fiction film has received a mixed response from the audience. The story and screenplay are weak, but the VFX of the film is being praised a lot. This is the reason why the audience is loving watching it on the big screen. The film’s earnings have fallen in the weekdays since the second weekend. But on Friday, September 23, there are signs of a strong increase in its earnings. The Multiplex Association of India is celebrating National Cinema Day on this day. In such a situation, the price of tickets for films on about 4000 screens across the country has been kept between Rs 75 and Rs 150. The situation is such that by the time the news is written, 75-80% of the screens have become housefull. The biggest benefit of this is going to be ‘Brahmastra’, because it is the first choice of the audience in advance booking.

There is no major harm to ‘Brahmastra’ by ‘silence’ and ‘deceit’
Sunny Deol and Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Chup: Revenge of the Artist’ and R.K. Madhavan’s ‘Dhokha’ is also releasing. Some old films are also returning to theaters due to National Cinema Day, but ‘Brahmastra’ has sold the maximum number of tickets in advance booking. In such a situation, Ayan Mukerji’s film will have a big advantage on Friday. However, due to the low ticket prices, the earnings will definitely be slightly less. But it is quite possible that due to this, on Saturday and Sunday, even in the third weekend, crowds of spectators will be seen outside the cinema hall.
