Protima changed her name, died in 1998
Protima Bedi later passed away. After divorce from Protima, where Kabir Bedi moved ahead in life and got married for the third time after the second, Protima took retirement in 1998 and changed her name to Protima Gauri. In the same year, Protima Bedi died during a landslide during her visit to Kailash Mansarovar. His body and clothes were found a few days later.
