Quoting a source associated with the show, the report said, ‘Yes, Sasural Simar Ka-2 is coming to an end. We are shooting for the climax sequence and will wrap it up on 4th April. It has been a wonderful journey. We are in a time where new shows are closing in less than three months. We are glad that we have entertained the audience for two years. We tried to introduce different elements in the show.

It further added, ‘Recently we also added a supernatural element to the story and transformed the male lead (Avinash) into a snake. However, we felt that the story has progressed in its own direction and now it is time to say goodbye because in the end, everything comes down to the numbers game.’
