Babar Azam: The Mahakumbh of cricket i.e. ICC World Cup is going to start soon. Teams have started coming to the country for this World Cup to be played in India. The cricket team of India’s neighboring country Pakistan reached India on Wednesday evening. Pakistan team is touring India after 7 years. The last time Pakistan came to India for cricket was in 2016. As soon as they reached Hyderabad airport, the Pakistan team was given a grand welcome by the staff. The airport administration controlled the crowd of fans outside the airport. Pakistan captain Babar Azam along with other players were welcomed by wearing shawls in Indian style.
Babur liked the Indian welcome
After the grand welcome at the airport, Pakistan captain Babar Azam expressed happiness on his social media handle. Babar posted an Instagram story. He wrote that he was overwhelmed by the welcome he received in India. Along with Babar, Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi also expressed happiness through the post and described the welcome in Hyderabad as grand.
Saffron colored shawls worn to welcome at the airport
Apart from Babar Azam’s reaction, another video is going viral on social media. During the welcome at the airport, the Pakistani team was given shawls whose color was saffron. The video of this saffron colored shawl is going viral and people are making different kinds of funny comments.
