KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty’s wedding celebrations begin this week and plans are afoot for mehendi, haldi and sangeet ceremony ahead of the grand wedding on January 23. Suniel and Mana Shetty’s lavish Khandala bungalow is the wedding venue and is being spruced up. Many videos and photos are also coming out from Sunil Shetty’s house, in which glimpses of marriage are clearly visible. A while back a video of the pavilion has also surfaced, which is fully decorated. Seeing this, it seems that the theme of the wedding is going to be golden.

ETimes had exclusively revealed that since Athiya wanted a simple wedding and KL Rahul also wanted to tie the knot at the Khandala mansion, Suniel Shetty decided that this would be the venue. Would be perfect for marriage. Guests will be accommodated at the Radisson Hotel. After marriage, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul will give grand reception in Mumbai.

A source told BT, ‘The wedding will be very simple, with only the couple’s close friends and family attending. About 100 guests will come to the wedding. Considering the busy schedule of cricket, a function has been planned for the film and cricket legends after the IPL gets over in May. The post-IPL bash is expected to attract over 3000 guests. While the couple is tight-lipped about the wedding, KL Rahul had said that he is currently not playing for the ongoing New Zealand series, confirming that the cricketer has taken leave for his wedding.
