The hearing on the bail of Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, who is trapped in the drugs case, is going on in the Bombay High Court. Former Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi is fighting the case of Aryan Khan. It will be clear in a while whether Aryan Khan will get bail or not. Aryan Khan’s lawyer is trying his best to get him bail.
On one hand, where Shahrukh Khan and his lawyer are trying to get Aryan Khan base, on the other hand NCB has opposed Aryan’s bail in the court. This is the reason why Aryan’s bail plea has been rejected twice before by the court.
Let us tell you that Aryan Khan’s lawyer Mukul Rohatgi, while arguing in the court, has presented a clarification that Aryan has returned to India during Covid. He was studying in California. Aryan was not a customer. Aryan Khan was the special guest at the cruise party. Pradeep Daban had called Aryan to the party. Pradeep Gaba was the event manager. Aryan and Arbaaz were specially invited to the party as chief guests. Aryan and Arbaaz Merchant did not even have tickets for the cruise party.
Further advocate Mukul Rohatgi said that Aryan had reached the cruise terminal at 4:30. NCB already had information about a drug party on the cruise. He arrested many people including Aryan Arbaaz. No seizure was made from Aryan’s possession. 6 grams of drugs were found from his friend Arbaaz’s shoes, cannot be sent to jail for such a small quantity. There was no test of Aryan to check for taking drugs. Till when there is no ground to arrest Aryan. The chats cited by NCB are from 2018 and 2019. Which has nothing to do with the drugs party. That chat took place when Aryan was abroad.
Questioning Aryan’s arrest, Mukul Rohatgi said that 23 days have passed so far, no recovery has been made in this case. Yet Aryan Khan is being treated like a criminal. Mukul Rohgati denies Aryan Khan’s involvement in any conspiracy.
Aryan Khan’s bail application is being heard in the court. On Aryan Khan’s bail application, the NCB said that in Riya’s case, the Bombay High Court had held that all offenses under the NDPS Act are non-bailable.
