Alia Bhatt said- I could not wear lehenga in my wedding because of this reason

Alia Bhatt recently explained the reason for wearing a saree instead of lehenga on the occasion of her wedding. The actress said that she feels very comfortable in the saree. She loves wearing saree very much, that was the reason why she wore saree only on the occasion of marriage. Actually, Alia married actor Ranbir Kapoor on 14 April 2024. On this occasion she wore Sabyasachi’s ivory saree.

Saree is the most comfortable outfit in the world: Alia

While talking about her wedding outfit in the interview, Alia said- ‘I like saree. This is the most comfortable outfit in the world, which is why I chose a saree and not a lehenga for my wedding.

Women can wear different types of clothes: Alia

Talking about the selection of clothes, Alia said that women have a lot of styling options. They benefit a lot from it. Alia said- ‘I believe that the beauty of being a woman is that you can wear different types of clothes all the time. I can wear a pant suit or some other stylish gown. Being a woman, I have a good collection of clothes in my wardrobe. I think this is the biggest advantage of being a woman. We should celebrate it.

Alia wore an ivory saree with golden details on her wedding day, in which she looked very beautiful. Along with this, Alia wore heavy Kundan jewellery. However, she kept her makeup very simple. Apart from this, Alia had applied simple design instead of heavy bridal mehendi. After the wedding photos were revealed, Alia’s wedding look was very much discussed.
