Ujjain, (His). Famous film actor Akshay Kumar reached Ujjain on the occasion of his birthday on Saturday and visited Jyotirlinga of Lord Mahakal and worshiped him. Here he along with his family participated in the Bhasma Aarti of Baba Mahakal. Along with him, cricketer Shikhar Dhawan also participated in the Bhasma Aarti of Baba Mahakal. At the same time, badminton player Saina Nehwal also reached Ujjain today and worshiped Lord Mahakal.
Akshay Kumar is celebrating his 56th birthday on Saturday. Akshay reached Mahakaleshwar temple at around 2.30 am on Saturday. He performed Bhasma Aarti from Nandi Hall in traditional attire of dhoti and kurta. Along with Akshay, he was also accompanied by son Aarav, niece Simar and sister Alka. Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan was also sitting with him.
During the aarti, Akshay was seen dancing in the joy of devotion. He also prayed for the success of the upcoming film “Mission Raniganj”. Pandit Ashish Sharma told that Akshay was given detailed information about Mahakal Temple.
