Dilip Kumar, the veteran actor of Hindi cinema, passed away today. The actor breathed his last on Wednesday, 7 July at 7.30 am at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai. Dilip Kumar’s age was 98 years. He was running ill for a long time. His wife Saira Banu was constantly with him in his last days. Dilip Sahab will be buried at Baba Kasai Cemetery in Santa Cruz, Mumbai. On his death, Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan have paid tribute to him.
Akshay Kumar tweeted and wrote, ‘There can be many other heroes for the world. For us actors, he was the hero. #DilipKumar sir took an entire era of Indian cinema with him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Om Shanti with folded hands.
