Under the Mission Shakti Abhiyan 4.0, presiding over the Women’s Jansanwai and Awareness Choupal, Rakhi Tyagi, a member of the UP State Women’s Commission, said that equal fundamental rights have been given to women and men in the Indian Constitution. Women also have equal rights as men in the society, so they should be aware of their rights. 15 women put their problems in front of the member.
Under the Mission Shakti 4.0 campaign, women’s public hearing and awareness chaupal were organized in the State Circuit House. Member Rakhi Tyagi appealed to the women that if they are being harassed by someone, then they should not tolerate the harassment being done on them at all, but face it firmly. He said that for the help of women, the commission has issued WhatsApp number 06306511708, on which any aggrieved woman can send her problem along with her ID from 10 am to 5 pm on any working day except Saturday and Sunday. The member said that the schemes of the state and central government should reach the people and women should come forward and take advantage of them and do social and economic upliftment of themselves and their families. He said that the state government is making continuous efforts for the welfare of women. He said that on the instructions of the State Government, a women’s help desk has been set up in every police station, in which the problems of women are listened to and their quality redressal is done. On this occasion ACM First Sunita Verma, District Probation Officer Ajit Kumar, District Program Officer Vineet Kumar Singh, District Social Welfare Officer Mushtaq, Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. Pooja Sharma along with police and other officers were present.
