Full HD video calling feature on Google Meet
It is being claimed in many media reports that Google is continuously bringing new updates to improve the user experience of its platform. In such a situation, it is now bringing full HD 1080p video calling feature in group calls. At the same time, if you use this new feature of Google on PC and laptop, then high resolution web is available for it. But currently high resolution is off by default.
However, whenever you use it, users will get an indicator on the right corner of the screen. In this you will be asked about the option of 1080p. If you want to choose it, you can go to the Settings menu and turn on the toggle.
What did Google say on the new feature of Google Meet?
In this regard, Google said, “Note that 1080p is only sent when one or more users are pinned to a screen large enough to present a 1080p video feed to 1080p-supporting users. “Supporting sending those 1080p videos requires more bandwidth; Meet will automatically adjust the resolution if device bandwidth is constrained.”
This will also change during video calling
The report claims that Google is increasing the resolution of recorded screen shares in Meet from 720p to 1080p. It is being claimed that by doing this we will be able to watch the existing content in a better way.
You will get benefits on these platforms
It is being told that this feature of Google will be seen on different platforms including Google Workspace, Business Standard, Enterprise Essentials, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Starter, Enterprise Plus, Education Plus and Teaching and Learning Upgrade.
