In which courses will you get benefit by taking admission?
The applicant must have taken admission in the first year of regular and full-time course of a designated university or post-graduate college. No benefit will be given to girl students pursuing the course through distance education mode. No benefit will be given to girl students who fail in the first year examination Change of course during the course of study will not be permitted. Admission in the second year after passing the first year will not require re-application.
How to apply?
To avail the scholarship, candidates can apply online at the National Scholarship Portal. Applications are invited for this scholarship once a year. Its short notification is also uploaded on the UGC website. The first 3,000 applications received after the application process starts are considered. Applications with incomplete information are rejected. In this case, the application should be made carefully soon after the process starts.
