The names of many places have been changed in the Yogi government. At the same time, now the name of a famous poet has been played with. This is none other than the famous poet Akbar Allahabadi. In whose classic Sher, he is expressing that the poets are beyond the pressure of the government, but their personality has been played with in the Yogi government.
There is a column ‘About Allahabad’ on the website of the Commission. On clicking it, a page opens about the brief history of Allahabad and its achievements, which is in English language. In this, not only Akbar Allahabadi, but also the title next to the names of Tegh Allahabadi and Rashid Allahabadi have been tampered with and Prayagraj has been written in place of Allahabadi. Whether this was done deliberately or due to technical reasons, it will be clear only after investigation, but the tampering with the names of famous poets has given rise to a new controversy.
