    Students showed talent in talent program of Mathura, GLA University

    “Talent” program was organized in the campus hall under the banner of Literacio Club of GLA University, Mathura. Students enthusiastically participated in this program. The competition was organized through dance drama of various songs, in which students gave their wonderful performances through music singing, dance, poetry, short-act, stand-up comedy, dynamic yoga etc. The first prize was a tie between Shilpi Majumdar (Vocation) and Chetanya Srivastava (Vocation). The second prize was also tied between Anjali (Dance) and Naman Sharma (Magic). While the third prize was won by Rishita Gahoi (Classical Dance) and Prasha Sharma (Classical Dance) Yash Srivastava (Beat Boxing) won a special prize. Along with this, consolation prizes were also given to some students, participation certificates were given to all the participants.

    Earlier, the program was started by Dr. Panchanan Mohanty, HOD of English Department and Dr. Gamta Bhatnagar, Chief Mentor of the club by lighting the lamp and showcasing various talents among the students and receiving appreciation from the audience. The program was judged by various faculty members of the university. The program was successfully conducted by Naman Kumar Yashasvi Suhane Yash Pathak and Manisha Chaudhary. The program was hosted by Aishwant Saini and Yashasvi Suhane. The program was conducted by Club President Divyansh Garg, Vice President Divya Gupta, Treasurer Shashank Agarwal and General Secretary Jalaki Nayak.

    Dandiya and Garba were also organised. The enthusiasm and zeal among the students was clearly visible from the day the program was announced. All the participants thoroughly enjoyed the evening playing Garba and Dandiya with their friends. The program was conducted brilliantly by Shashank Agarwal, Suyash Sahu, Harshita Shukla and Srishti Kaushik, besides Dr. Nitin Bhatnagar and Dr. Ariva Shabbir made full contribution.

    At the same time, the Skylight program was organized by the Department of B.Tech Electrical Engineering, GLA University, Mathura. Meanwhile, Associate Director Prof. Shantanu Choudhary said that the Skylight program has a different role to play for peace and prosperity in a world emerging from Covid. This also gives the message to the students that everything had come to a halt due to an epidemic like Covid. But the situation is changing slowly now, so we will get employment opportunities, we have to be ready to get these opportunities. It should not happen that the opportunities to be received go out of hand, while addressing the students during the program organized by the Electrical Society, the Head of the Department, Prof. Vinay Kumar Devalia said that the university itself will provide opportunities to the students, companies are constantly giving placements by meeting the students for employment. All the teachers and students were present on this occasion.
