Staff Selection Commission will start SSC Steno 2019 skill test from 21st October. The Stenography Test or Skill Test for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2019 will be held on October 21 and October 22, 2021 i.e. tomorrow and day after tomorrow. The SSC on Monday had issued an ‘important notice giving all necessary guidelines. According to the notice, the commission will give computer and keyboard and shorthand notebooks to the candidates for the test. No candidate is allowed to bring his/her own keyboard. will be given. 1.Candidates will not be allowed to take a print out of the typed test after the Stenography Skill Test.
2. For English Transcription (Typing) candidates are advised to choose English (US) as their keyboard layout option and for Hindi Transcription candidates are advised to choose English (US) as their keyboard layout option Select Hindi Inscript / Hindi Krutidev / Hindi Remington CBI / Hindi Remington Gail.

3.Candidates will bring their own pen/pencil/sharpener/eraser for the examination.
4. Candidates will be allowed Compensatory Time only during Transcription (Typing), No Compensation Time will be given during Shorthand Dictation.
5.Candidates have to strictly follow the COVID-19 protocol during the examination. Wearing a mask and keeping a distance of 2 yards will have to be taken care of.
