Shubham did his early education from Jaipur, Rajasthan. His father went to Maharashtra in connection with work, where he took a small house. After which the youngest of three siblings, Shubham and his sister Bhagyashree went to live with their father. Here he took admission in a school, which was far away from his home. He had to catch a train every morning to reach school. It was three o’clock in the evening when I came back. Shubham’s father had taken his house on Dahanu Road, a small village in Maharashtra, where he opened a small shop.
There were days of financial crunch and Shubham felt that since elder brother Krishna was away from home to prepare for IIT, it became his responsibility to help his father. So after coming from school, Shubham used to reach the shop by 4 o’clock and stayed there till night. It was here that along with work, he used to study in the remaining time. At this time Shubham was in 8th standard. From class 8th to class 12th, that is, for five years, he lived like this. Because of this, he neither became friends, nor did he play any sport, because he did not have time for all these.
Passed 10th with excellent marks
Shubham was good at studies since childhood. Even after studying with work, Shubham passed 10th with excellent marks. After which, people suggested that choose science, but he liked commerce. After Shubham 12th, he came to Delhi for further studies. Here he wanted to take admission in Shri Ram College of Commerce, which could not happen due to some reason. This made them very disappointed. Then his elder brother explained to him that where he got admission, do well there. After which Shubham did B.Com and M.Com from a college in Delhi itself.
Made my father’s dream my dream
When Shubham was studying in Delhi, he did not have the thought of appearing for the UPSC examination even far and wide. At the same time, his father was engulfed in many types of financial troubles. When Shubham went to his father during the holidays, his father told Shubham, telling his problems, that son, if you wish to become a big officer, then such problems would not come. This word of father sat in Shubham’s heart and from that day Shubham made this dream of his father his dream. After reaching Delhi, he started preparing for UPSAC exam.
