Department of Higher Education Punjab has released the recruitment for the posts of Assistant Professor and Librarian. The government has issued recruitment for a total of 1158 posts, out of which 1091 posts have been recruited for assistant professor and the remaining 67 posts have been released for librarian. The last date to apply for these posts is 8 November 2021, after which applications will not be accepted.

According to the Department of Higher Education, if you are applying for the post of Assistant Professor of these subjects, then you must have at least 55 percent marks in the relevant subject and with that you must have a master’s degree. Apart from this, the candidate should also be qualified in NET/SLET/SET. The candidates who are selected will be provided salary of Rs 56,100 per month during the probation period. What are the application fees
If you belong to SC or ST community and community then you will have to pay a fee of Rs 750. Ex-servicemen will have to pay a fee of Rs.500. So the same EWS and PWD applicants will also have to pay a fee of Rs 500, apart from this, other candidates will have to pay Rs 15,00 as fee.
All those candidates who are applying for the post of Assistant Professor, all those candidates will be selected according to the written test. The candidates who clear this test will later be invited for counseling, after which they will be reinstated in their posts.
