Mathura. The Collaborative Teaching Model has been implemented for the students at the Institute of Legal Studies and Research (Law Sansthan) of GLA University, Mathura. With this, the students will be taught the lessons of practical knowledge and advance law education through special lectures by the professors of NLU. A guest lecture has been organized recently in this regard.
A Guest Lecture was organized at the Law Institute of GLA University on the contemporary issue regarding divorce by mutual consent, during the lecture, Professor Anju Tyagi, National Law University, New Delhi, while speaking on the contemporary issues regarding divorce by consent, said that India Divorce cases are increasing in India and families are falling apart due to lack of knowledge of the law. Indian law also allows divorce on mutual consent and divorce by mutual consent after the failure of social and judicial arbitration can solve many social and economic problems. He talked about the latest Supreme Court judgments on matrimonial and social legal issues and also enlightened on the basis of mutual consent divorce.
Dean of Law Institute Prof. Avinash Dadhich introduced the students about the chief guest. After this, highlighting the subject of the guest lecture, he said that often due to lack of knowledge of law, litigants spend their time, money and life in litigation for a long time. Using social and judicial arbitration, the Yadis can settle their disputes peacefully. If still the dispute is not resolved then divorce by mutual consent can give a legal alternative to both the parties.
Pro. Dadhich said the Law Institute of GLA University would continue a series of lectures by Supreme Court judges, professors from national and international top universities as part of this initiative. Various faculty members of the institute participated in the programme. Inder Kumar Singh, Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor of the institute welcomed the guest and the vote of thanks was given by Associate Professor Dr. Manish Yadav. Nimiya Sinha, a student of Law Institute conducted the program.
