History of National Girl Child Day
If you look back at the pages of history, you will know that National Girl Child Day 2023 was started in 2008. The credit for starting this goes to the Ministry of Women and Child Development. It was first observed with an aim to raise awareness about the inequalities faced by girls and women at various levels in the society. It was hoped that the whole society would be aware about the education of girls and their rights and all together would try to educate girls.
