MoU has been signed between GLA University, Mathura and Gemini Solutions, Gurugram. After this agreement, the students of Computer Science and Engineering of the university will now have an awareness of new opportunities in the field of IT, cooperation in research and employment. Along with this, new opportunities will also be available to develop educational projects based on latest technology. Recently, this MoU has come into effect after the signing of the MoU between GLA University Registrar Ashok Kumar Singh and Gemini Solutions Vice President Somendra Nath Ray. Through this MoU, information will be provided to the students of computer science engineering to make them aware of research work, develop socially useful projects, know about new softwares and tools in this field through industrial visit and understand their implementation.
Associate Dean Academic Collaboration Prof. Dilip Kumar Sharma said that through the signing of this MoU, new opportunities will be provided for the university and the company. Guest lectures, workshop seminars will be organized from time to time by the officials of the company for the preparation purpose to make the students employable. Apart from this, students will also be motivated to do research.
Dr. Rohit Agarwal, Head of the Department said that this MoU has been signed with the aim of providing excellent education to the students through training programs during the academic activities and for all round development of the students. Also, through this MoU, new employment opportunities will be created for the students in the companies. Rahul Singh, Deputy General Manager, Corporate Relations, Department of Training and Placement said that Gemini Solutions Company has been doing campus placements for the past many years to provide employment to the students of GLA University. Apart from this, students have been given employment through online placement process even in the era of Covid. On this occasion Vice Chancellor Prof. Falguni Gupta, Senior Vice President Corporate Relations of Training and Placement Department, Saurabh Goyal, Himani Kaushik etc. were present.
Open football competition held in GLA
Mathura. The 11a-side two-day football open tournament was held at GLA University. Agra and Mathura teams participated in this competition. Eight best teams of Mathura got the opportunity to play in the competition. In the final, there was a tremendous match between KRFC vs Youth Football Club. Both the teams had a brilliant scoring clash as the KRFC player scored inside the goal post with great dexterity as KRFC won the final match by a score of zero. The athletics coach of the university, Bhupendra Mishra, conducted the competition, table tennis coach Akash Rajput and yoga coach Poonam Trivedi assisted in keeping the game under control. This two-day football open competition was concluded under the guidance of football coach Vrajvihari. On this occasion Sunita Pachar District Mathura Football Association Secretary Dalbir Singh, Agra District President Ballu Singh Chauhan, Sports Department coach JP Singh, Amit Kumar Sharma, Shyam Narayan, Aship Roy, Ritu Jat had special support.
