Hello everyone!
First of all, Happy Republic Day to all of you. Today we all have gathered to celebrate the 74th Republic Day of the country. The constitution came into force in India on 26 January itself. The constitution makes all the countrymen face to face with their rights and duties. The Indian Constitution is the largest written constitution in the world. It took 2 years, 11 months and 18 days to complete. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar played the most role in making it. This is the reason why he is called the father of the Indian Constitution.
The constitution works to bind the whole country in the thread of unity. Along with this, it also gives the right to all citizens to be equal before the law. Every year on 26 January a grand ceremony is organized at Rajpath in which all the countrymen participate enthusiastically. On this occasion, the President of the country hoists the national flag and a glimpse of India’s diversity is seen in the form of tableaux on the Rajpath. Finally, on January 29, the Republic Day celebrations come to an end with the Beating Retreat.
Hope you would have benefited by getting information about the pride of the country on Republic Day. Thank you very much to all of you for listening to me so carefully. With these words I end my speech. Once again hearty greetings to all of you on Republic Day.
