JEE Main is conducted for admission to graduate engineering and allied courses (BE/B.Tech, BAR, etc.) in Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs). This exam is conducted twice every year for which lakhs of students register. The exam is conducted in various cities across the country.
Every year around 10 lakh students give the exam. After this top 2.5 lakh candidates appear for JEE Advanced for admission in IITs.
