The incidents of destruction of forests are coming to the fore, so it has become a serious matter for the earth and human life. Now people have to understand their responsibilities towards the mountains. That’s why International Mountain Day becomes very important. It calls for awareness to save the rich biodiversity and natural landscape. These mountains, apart from handling population and biodiversity, also provide fresh water to half of humanity. However, rising temperatures have also caused mountain glaciers to melt at unprecedented rates, affecting fresh water supplies for millions of people. These problems are affecting almost everyone globally. That is why it is very important to take care of these natural heritage.
