India-Canada Row: Indian High Commissions in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver, Canada have been surrounded by barricades after pro-Khalistan group Sikh for Justice (SJF) announced protests. Actually, recently SJF had announced a campaign named Death to India-Balkanize.
Under this campaign, protests were announced by the extremist group outside Indian embassies in important cities of Canada. In view of this, the local police has tightened security outside the Indian High Commission.
There is a possibility of attack on the Indian High Commission
There is a fear that Khalistan supporters may attack the Indian High Commission. In view of this the police has issued an alert. The police have cordoned off the Indian High Commission and surrounding areas. In view of security, local police and federal police personnel have been deployed in the area.
Khalistanis’ protest was a flop
On the other hand, the protest by Khalistanis called against India proved to be a flop show. It is reported that very few Khalistani supporters attended the rally called in the capital Vancouver. It is also being said that the protesters were also thanking Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. At present, India is also continuously preparing to tighten the noose on Khalistanis.
