How to take admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya
To get into Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, one has to pass an entrance exam. Which is for admission in class 6th and 9th. So if your kids are studying in class 5th or 8th then you can give them this entrance exam to go to class 6th and class 9th. It is mandatory to pass this examination and the talented children who have passed that are selected according to the seat, only after getting the seat, admission is given in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya.
Know the exam pattern
This exam is of 100 marks. For which you get 2 hours. Objective questions given in these 2 hours have to be solved. There are optional questions in it, which have four options. One of the four options has to be selected and written. There is no negative marks in this entrance exam. Reasoning power of 50 marks, Mathematics 25 marks and Language 25 marks in this exam.

How to prepare for the entrance exam
Analyze Syllabus
Before starting the preparation of the exam, you must first analyze the syllabus thoroughly and inform the children about it. This will help them to know the subject which they have to study. Then also go through the JNVST Class 6th & 9th Exam Pattern to know the weightage of each subject.
