HTET Exam Pattern:
There are 2 papers in HTET exam, which is Paper 1 (PRT) and Paper 2 (TGT & PGT).
Each paper consists of 150 questions of one mark each.
– This is an offline mode exam (pen and paper mode).
There is no negative marking in this exam.
– For each correct question you will get 1 mark.
– The total number of questions and maximum marks for TGT, PGT and PRT exam is 150.
– The mode of the exam will be MCQs which are multiple choice questions
In Paper-1, questions will be asked from 5 subjects, which are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language (English and Hindi), General Studies, Mathematics, Environmental Studies.
Whereas in Paper-2, questions will be asked from child development and pedagogy, language (English and Hindi), general studies and specific subject as chosen.

1. Pay special attention to revision
There is very little time left to prepare for this exam, so instead of reading the complete syllabus, focus on revision. Revise with the help of the notes you have made in your preparation so far. This will help you to remember all your topics.
2. Stay away from stress
While preparing for the exam, keep in mind that if you have completed your preparation then you will definitely be successful, so, do not take unnecessary stress. This has a negative effect on your health and mind and you will not be able to prepare yourself properly, which can also affect your examination. Take good sleep and adopt a positive lifestyle.
3. Prepare with Focus
Do not let your mind wander somewhere else during the last time of exam preparation. Now there is very little time left in the exam, so make a proper routine and study with utmost focus. After studying for a long time, take breaks in between. With this you will be able to concentrate more in studies.

4. Solve Previous Year Question Papers
If you want to avoid any kind of confusion during the exam, then solve at least last 5 years question paper. Keep a time limit while solving the paper and give the paper exactly as you appear in the exam. By doing this you will be able to identify your ability and see what kind of questions you are able to do in how much time. This will help you to rectify your mistakes and increase your speed. By which, you will be able to score high in the final exam.
5. Practice with Mock Tests
The best way to prepare for the exam is by giving mock tests. So, in the remaining time, give one to two mock tests every day. Solving these will help you solve the questions in less time. Also, you will get information about the complete pattern of the exam.
6. Arrive in the examination hall before time
To avoid last minute rush and hassle, candidates should reach half an hour before the reporting time. There is absolutely no need to panic during the exam. Don’t lose your confidence. Take care of all your important papers.
7. Keep calm and read the question properly
If you want to score well in this exam then keep in mind that you should keep yourself completely calm while giving the exam. Don’t think too much about anything and read the questions thoroughly with patience, then mark the correct answer.
