GLA Management Faculty Director Prof. Anurag Singh gave a welcome address at the opening of the session and said that both industry and academia fulfill each other’s needs. Present during the session was Dr. Pramod Joshi, Chief Mentor of NewGen IEDC of GLA and Head of Department (Graduate) Prof. Somesh Dhamija informed about the efforts being made by the faculty for the holistic development of the students.

    While giving the vote of thanks at the end of the session, Head of the Department (Post Graduate) Prof. Vikas Tripathi said that both the students and teachers of the faculty will definitely be benefitted by the experience and knowledge shared by Seema Bangia. All the faculty members and students including Dr. Aruna Dhamija, Dr. Utkal Khandelwal were present during the session. On the other hand, a one day seminar was organized by Academic Success Center (ASC) of GLA University, Mathura, in which Professor Kavita Singh (Faculty of Management Studies) of Delhi University described gender sensitivity as very important.

    Professor Kavita said that education is defined as a medium to make the society elegant and beautiful. Also told that any nation and society can be advanced and progressive only when all the genders living in it give respect and priority to each other’s feelings. Head of BEd Department and Director of ASC Prof. Kavita Verma told that the members of various departments of GLA participated in the seminar and got to know the seriousness of the subject through questions related to gender sensitivity. The program was successfully conducted by Dr Himani Oberoi.
